William Beichner has twenty five years of consumer products experience. During the
past fourteen years he has served in an officer capacity of several major consumer
products companies. Mr. Beichner is currently President, CEO of Into Great Brands
which markets the DuraLube and MotorKote brand of additives worldwide.
Prior to Into Great, Mr. Beichner served as CEO of Lawman Armor Corporation, a manufacturer
of various safety and security products marketed to retailers throughout North America.
While at Lawman, Mr. Beichner significantly increased revenue and shareholder value
by reducing acquisition costs, securing licensing agreements, and directing the
sales and marketing efforts in North America. He launched several successful line
extensions, and completed one competitive acquisition. Mr. Beichner successfully
moved the manufacturing efforts to China, resulting in a 38% reduction in direct
manufacturing costs.
Prior to Lawman Armor, Mr. Beichner served as President of Winner International,
makers of the brand leading consumer products company "The Club". He was recruited
by Winner to turn around a rapidly declining revenue base. He managed to stabilize
and ultimately grow the revenue by reducing trade spending and initiating tight
internal controls of accounting accrual reporting to the P&L. He successfully completed
a major acquisition of a competing product line. He also launched "The Club" brand
into the Padlock and Self Defense Spray Categories. These product launches were
so successful that "Home Improvement Executive" recognized "The Club" as the number
three padlock brand in North America.
Prior to Winner, Mr. Beichner served as Vice President of Sales of the Quaker State
Consumer Products Group. He was responsible for the management of seven major brands
with approximately $200 million in revenue. He was given the Employee of the Year
Award for accomplishments during 1996. In 1995 Mr. Beichner successfully led a synergistic
merger of sales forces between Slick 50 Products Corporation and Blue Coral Waxes
and Polishes.
Mr. Beichner earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from La Roche College
in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a former board member of Lawman Armor Corporation. He
has also served on the board of Run Rite Automotive Chemical Company and was a former
board member of The La Roche College Board of Reagents.
